Cursive Writing for Kids teaches joined-up handwriting one stroke at a time. A green dot shows where each stroke starts, an arrow shows the direction, and “Show me” replays the stroke. Children trace with a finger or Apple Pencil and earn up to three stars per letter. It covers all 52 letters, 38 practice words and printable US Letter worksheets. It is a one-time purchase with no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases, and works offline.
After a few tries the app lets your child move on, so nobody gets stuck. A grown-up can switch between Relaxed and Precise tracing in settings.
Tap the “Grown-ups” button on the home screen. You will be asked a multiplication question written in words, for example “What is twenty-four times three?”. Type the answer as digits (72). After three wrong answers the gate locks for 30 seconds. Sharing worksheets, the rating prompt, resetting stars and settings are behind it.
From the grown-up area, share a worksheet and print it from the share sheet. Worksheets are US Letter size with a model, dotted letters to trace and blank practice lines.
The glyphs are original hand-drawn stroke data in a common modern school cursive style. Schools and curricula differ, so shapes may vary slightly from your child's classroom model.
